Minne is pronounced "Min-nay". My work is done both on location and in the studio.  My interests and talents are in creative portraits for individuals, families, wedding photojournalism, sports action, and event photography.  I love to capture people in their everyday look and feel through a casual style combining traditional, informal, and candid shots.  Looking at the camera and saying "cheese" is not my technique.  Whether I photograph you and your family in my studio, at your home, during a celebration, or outdoors at a favorite park, it is my personal goal to make you look your best by providing the highest level of quality and service.  I believe that you never stop learning.  Even after 32 years of looking through a camera's lens, I still consider myself to be a student of photography.  I do not believe this will ever change as the art of photography changes constantly and quickly.  To keep up, one must always be learning and I love to learn.  In a nutshell, I simply enjoy capturing the moments of our time and believe that the best photography comes from challenging oneself.

In addition to being a professional photographer, I am a licensed pharmacist here in Colorado.  I guess I love the professions that start with "Ph"!  Many years ago, I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and currently work in scientific affairs for a biotechnology company.  I am working towards my third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, enjoy traveling, and the great outdoors (camping, hiking, biking, you name it!). I reside in Parker, Colorado with my amazing marathon running wife Kris, and two awesome kids.

Digital Images Policy

I believe in providing digital images to all of my clients. Your images on a CD will come with "home use rights" to make unlimited prints for your own personal use. Your images will look great on your computer and you likely will want to continue that high quality that you see on the screen to prints and albums.  Of course, I would prefer that you use my studio for these services, but I understand it may be more convenient and less costly through other avenues.  Heck, I am a consumer too!  No matter what, I highly encourage you to have your images printed from a reputable and professional printing company which specializes in these sorts of products.  Please avoid the discount chains, consumer printers, and cut rate online services as you likely will not be satisfied with their quality or longevity.  Your images that I create are extremely special and important.  The resulting prints should be equally remarkable.  Therefore, in order to get the look and feel of outstanding “studio quality” prints, a professional lab (or Minne Photography) will make more enhancements and retouch each individual image prior to printing.  Printing is done with professional level printers on professional quality photographic papers or canvas with superior quality inks for both longevity and brilliance.  These studio quality prints will have the superiority and characteristics that you expect and that you will proudly display in frames and photo albums throughout your home for decades.  Lastly, I respectfully ask you to please obey copyrights and purchase additional CDs that you need for friends and family.  I price them very inexpensively to make it simple for you to comply.  Thank you!

Copyright, Privacy, and Credit Card Processing

COPYRIGHT and PRIVACY NOTICE: All images created by any Minne Photography, LLC photographer will forever remain the property of and copyright owned by Minne Photography, LLC.  However, you may purchase the copyrights to images taken of you, please ask how.  Minne Photography, LLC reserves the right to use its copyrighted images and/or reproductions for the purposes of display, marketing, contests, exhibitions, and other purposes in any known or future media format.  Minne Photography always respects the privacy rights of all its clients and will never sell client lists or release personal information regarding client images.

Credit Card Processing: Minne Photography’s credit card processing vendor automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Once your information reaches our vendor, it resides on a server long enough to process and reverse the payment as needed. These servers are heavily guarded both physically and electronically. The servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers. Any hardcopy of your credit card or financial information is destroyed after adequate time has passed to process any claims. Your personal information is never sold or shared with any other business or institution.
